| Obverse description | Broad, irregular flan bearing a two-line Arabic inscription in bold, deeply struck Naskh script occupying the central field. The legend reads 'Muhammad Humayun / Badshah Ghazi' (Emperor and Holy Warrior), the regnal titles of the second Mughal emperor. The script is executed in a robust, calligraphic style typical of early Mughal hammered copper coinage, with strokes extending nearly to the rim. The flat field shows characteristic die-struck granularity, and the coin's irregular planchet results in slight legend weakness at the periphery. |
