The left figure holds a torch and the right figure holds a palette and a hand mirror. A ribbon scroll below bears the motto NOSTRI PLENA LABORIS, with the engraver's name WOODHOUSE beneath. The circular legend around the border reads PRIZE MEDAL ROYAL DUBLIN SOCIETY and INSTITUTED 1731.
