Obverse description Hibernia seated facing right in high relief, wearing a helmet and classical robes, holding a spear in her left hand and a cornucopia overflowing with fruit in her right arm, with the Irish harp shield at her side and a fasces at her feet. The legend NOSTRI PLENA LABORIS arcs around the upper field, with ROYAL DUBLIN SOCIETY and INSTD 1731 in the lower exergue. The engraver's signature WOODHOUSE F. appears at lower right.
