| Obverse description | The obverse displays a large heraldic shield divided per pale, the dexter half bearing a diagonal band (bend) decorated with escallops, a bird in flight, and cinquefoils on a dotted field, the sinister half charged with a fretty or engrailed pattern and multiple keys. The shield is surrounded by an elaborate wreath of laurel and acanthus foliage with scrollwork, all in high relief against a plain field. |
