Reverse description A winged Victory figure strides forward in high relief, extending a laurel wreath in her outstretched right hand and bearing a flag on a staff in her left. Below her feet appears a detailed view of the fort of Jellalabad in low relief. The initials W.W. appear in the lower field, and the date MDCCCXLII is inscribed in the exergue. The legend JELLALABAD VII APRIL arcs around the upper field.
