| Descrizione del dritto | The arms of the Royal Dublin Society displayed centrally, surmounted by a crown, with two female allegorical supporters flanking the shield — the left figure holding a quill and the right holding a mirror and palette. A ribbon below bears the Latin motto. The legend 'ROYAL DUBLIN SOCIETY' is inscribed around the inner bead border, with 'DUBLIN' at top and 'ROYAL SOCIETY' reading vertically on either side. The engraver's name 'J. WOODHOUSE' appears in the lower exergue. |
