Obverse description Hibernia seated three-quarters left in high relief, wearing a helmet and classical robes, holding a spear upright in her right hand and a cornucopia with flowers in her left arm, with an Irish harp shield resting at her side. The circular legend reads 'THE ROYAL DUBLIN SOCIETY' around the upper field, with the Latin motto 'NOSTRI PLENA LABORIS' in a rectangular panel in the exergue and the founding date 'A.D. 1731' below, all within a beaded border.
