Laurel branches frame the composition on either side.

Reverse description A large scrolled cartouche in the upper field bears the engraved award category in raised lettering. Below, a rectangular tablet contains the engraved recipient name A. URWIN. The entire composition is surrounded by an elaborate wreath of wheat ears, laurel, and foliage in relief.
