Reverse description A central lifebuoy ring bears the circular legend 'YACHTING-CLUB D'ARCACHON' around its rim, enclosing an engraved award inscription '1er PRIX / LOTUS' within the field. Surrounding the lifebuoy is a trophied arrangement of nautical and maritime implements including a trident, anchor, oars, flags, and other seafaring tools; a rowing figure appears to the left, and an olive branch to the right. The date '19 AOÛT / 1894' is engraved at the bottom.
