Reverse description The central field features a standing full-length figure of a bishop in pontifical vestments, raising his right hand in blessing and holding a crozier in his left, identified as Saint Galdino della Sala. To the left stands the monument to the Cinque Giornate di Milano with its sculptural base, and to the right is a depiction of a Romanesque building. Three dates in relief — 1848, 1176, and 1945 — appear along the lower field, with the maker's signature LORIOLI in the exergue and COST. AFFER inscribed in the field.
