Obverse description The allegorical figure of Venice seated left, holding a sceptre and wearing the Ducal horn, with the Lion of Saint Mark bearing a standard at right, extends a scroll toward Venetian troops lined up in the field. The circular legend runs along the border, with RES PVB VENET and S C inscribed in the lower exergue.
