Obverse description The obverse displays two heraldic panels set within a Gothic arcade of three columns. The left panel bears the club emblem of a winged wheel in landscape, with the motto ribbon NULLI SECUNDUS below; the right panel shows the City of London arms supported by two dragons, with the motto DOMINE DIRIGE NOS below. The legend THE LONDON WHEELERS appears on a scroll banner at the top of the arcade, with the date 1884 flanking the central column. A decorative floral frieze incorporating a thistle, rose, and shamrock occupies the lower field.
