Reverse description The reverse features a central medallion bearing a raised relief map of the Indian subcontinent with BOMBAY indicated, surrounded by six circular medallions arranged around it, each depicting scenes of industry and agriculture in high relief: a factory with smoking chimneys, workers at crafts and carpentry, a man ploughing with a bull, a weaver at a loom, a potter at work, and a waterfront view of a building. The medallions are separated by ornate beaded and foliate borders filling the field.
