Obverse description Two conjoined heraldic shields in relief at centre: the dexter shield bearing three crowns (arms of Kingston upon Hull), the sinister shield divided quarterly with a cross and fleur-de-lis (arms of Lincolnshire). A large Tudor rose in high relief rises above the junction of the shields. The design is set within a raised inner border decorated with small quatrefoil ornaments, with a reeded outer rim.
