Obverse description A seated classical female figure, laureate and draped, holds aloft a decorative plant specimen in her right hand, with gardening implements including a spade and rake leaning against a plinth behind her. To the left, a trained tree and a basket of fruit and vegetables are depicted in relief; to the right, a greenhouse or conservatory structure and a topiary in a pot are visible. The engraver's signature T.W. INGRAM F. appears in the lower right of the exergue line.
