| Obverse description | A standing helmeted figure of Britannia holding a spear is attended by a robed female figure to her left, with multiple infant putti in the field; one putto holds a book inscribed 'REGIS OF HONO', an owl and books appear at centre, and a view of a building is depicted in the lower right. Rays of light descend from the upper field, where a small winged figure surmounts a domed temple. The Latin legend appears along the lower rim. |
