Obverse description Three allegorical female figures in high relief occupy the field: a veiled woman holding a chalice at left representing Religion, a central figure bearing a cross representing Faith, and a winged figure at right holding a spear and mirror representing Virtue. To the left, rays of light emanate from within a classical temple set upon a rocky outcrop. The legend RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTETH A NATION arcs around the upper border, and the engraver's signature MOSSOP. F appears in the lower exergue. A suspension loop is fitted at the top.

Reverse description The reverse bears an entirely typographic design within a plain border. A circular legend around the rim reads ACQUAINT THYSELFE WITH GOD & BE AT PEACE. The central field displays in raised lettering: the engraved inscription Adjudged by the above the struck text ASSOCIATION FOR RELIGION AND VIRTUE / INST OCT 9 1792, with the engraved recipient name FRANCES ELIZA GAMBLE in the lower field. A suspension loop is fitted at the top.
