Obverse description The arms of Belfast depicted in high relief at centre, featuring a shield divided into quarters with a bell and a sailing ship, surmounted by a seahorse crest. The dexter supporter is a wolf rampant and the sinister supporter is a seahorse, both flanking the shield. Shamrock sprigs decorate the field, and a ribbon banner in the lower portion bears the motto legend.
