Reverse description The reverse displays a three-line Arabic devotional and honorific legend in raised script, arranged horizontally across the full width of the irregular flan. The inscription reads 'Khallada Allahu / mulkahu wa sultanahu / bifadlihi', meaning 'May God perpetuate his reign and his sovereignty by His grace', a pious formula commonly employed on Islamic sultanate coinage of Southeast Asia. The script, rendered in Naskh style, is bold and deeply struck, filling the field without border or ornament. The hammered technique has produced slight irregularities in the flan edges, consistent with hand-made gold coinage of the region and period.
