| Beschrijving keerzijde | Vesta, veiled and draped, is depicted seated left upon an ornate throne, holding a patera in her extended right hand and a long torch in her left hand. The goddess is rendered with dignified composure in the classical tradition, her veil falling gracefully over her head and shoulders. The reverse type evokes the sacred flame of Rome and the protection of the Roman citizenry under the patronage of Vesta. A dotted border surrounds the design, with the legend arranged around the circumference of the field. |
