At the base of the palm tree, a small crouching captive figure representing Judaea is visible, referencing the Flavian victory in the Jewish War. The inscription EX S C appears divided across the field to either side of the central design, indicating the issue was struck by senatorial authority. A beaded border frames the composition, and the overall reverse type follows the well-established Judaea Capta iconographic tradition celebrated under the Flavian dynasty. |
