| Opschrift voorzijde | IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG TR P (Translation: Imperator Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, Tribunicia Potestate. Supreme commander Caesar Vespasian, emperor, holder of tribunician power.) |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | The goddess Concordia, personification of harmony and concord, is depicted seated to the left upon an ornately decorated throne or chair with rounded stiles, rendered in a composed and dignified posture. In her extended right hand she holds a patera, the libation dish used in Roman religious ritual, while her left arm cradles an abundant cornucopiae, symbol of prosperity. The goddess is draped in flowing robes that fall about her lap and legs in deeply cut folds. The reverse legend CONCORDIA AVG arcs around the upper field, affirming the Augustan harmony promoted by Vespasian's newly established Flavian dynasty. |
