| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in high relief with finely engraved curling hair beneath a laurel wreath. The emperor's paludamentum is visible at the shoulder, secured with a clasp, conveying imperial military authority. The portrait exhibits the characteristic naturalistic style of Trajanic coinage, with a strong, slightly idealized profile.
