| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in high relief with fine naturalistic portraiture characteristic of the Trajanic period. The emperor wears a laurel wreath and a paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder, with the drapery folds visible over the left shoulder and chest. The portrait conveys authority and military gravitas, with strong facial features and a pronounced jaw.
