Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered with finely modelled facial features characteristic of Trajanic portraiture, including a strong brow, prominent nose, and close-cropped hair beneath a laurel wreath. The bust is shown with paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder, conveying imperial and military authority. A circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading from the lower left and continuing around the periphery of the flan.
