Obverse lettering IMP TITVS CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M
(Translation: Imperator Titus Caesar Vespasian Augustus, Pontifex Maximus.)
Reverse description A standing female figure, identified as Victoria (Victory), occupies the central field, depicted in three-quarter view facing left and leaning forward as if in motion. She holds a wreath in her outstretched right hand and a palm branch in her left, attributes emblematic of military triumph. The figure is rendered in flowing drapery, consistent with Flavian allegorical imagery celebrating Titus's military and imperial honors. A continuous Latin legend encircles the reverse field, enumerating Titus's tribunician, imperatorial, and consular titles. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hammered Roman aurei of this period.
