Obverse description Draped bust of Victory facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and swept back, adorned with a single drop earring visible at the neck. The bust is rendered in high relief with fine Classical detail typical of Augustan coinage. A small wing is visible at the shoulder, identifying the figure as Victoria. The circular legend naming the moneyer Gaius Antistius Vetus runs around the periphery in crisp Latin capitals, divided across both sides of the bust.
