附加信息	Otho ruled for 91 days before his suicide at Bedriacum in April 69 AD, making his coinage among the shortest-reigned of any Roman emperor. The mint at Rome worked quickly to establish his legitimacy — these aurei were struck in the opening weeks of his reign, before the military situation against Vitellius had fully deteriorated. The peace messaging was deliberate propaganda against the backdrop of active civil war. RIC I 5 is scarcer than its sister issues. Survivors in any condition command serious attention.
