| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Maximianus facing right, rendered with pronounced bearded features and bold relief characteristic of the Tetrarchic period. The emperor's portrait displays a finely detailed laurel wreath and short-cropped beard, reflecting the military iconography favored during the Diocletianic era. The encircling Latin legend reads MAXIMIANVS AVGVSTVS, distributed across the field within a beaded border.
