| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped bust of Marcus Antonius facing right, rendered with a strong, mature portrait featuring short curly hair and a pronounced jaw. The circular legend is disposed around the effigy within a border of dots, reading ANTON · AVG · IMP · III · COS · DES · III · III · V · R · P · C, proclaiming his titles of augur, imperator for the third time, consul designate for the third time, and triumvir for the restoration of the Republic.
