Obverse description Frontal bust of Emperor Licinius, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed, facing directly forward in an imposing en-face presentation characteristic of late Tetrarchic and early Constantinian portraiture. The emperor's features are rendered with a stylized, rigid formality: close-cropped hair, wide almond-shaped eyes, and a composed expression conveying imperial authority. The cuirass and paludamentum are visible at the lower truncation, with finely detailed folds of drapery secured at the right shoulder. The Latin legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, reading LICINIVS AVG OB D V FILII SVI, commemorating the quinquennalia of Licinius's son.
