Obverse description Frontal bust of Emperor Licinius, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed, facing directly forward in an imposing en-face presentation characteristic of late Tetrarchic and early Constantinian portraiture. The emperor's features are rendered with a stylized, rigid formality: close-cropped hair, wide almond-shaped eyes, and a composed expression conveying imperial authority. The cuirass and paludamentum are visible at the lower truncation, with finely detailed folds of drapery secured at the right shoulder. The Latin legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, reading LICINIVS AVG OB D V FILII SVI, commemorating the quinquennalia of Licinius's son.

Reverse description Jupiter, nude to the waist with a chlamys draped over his left shoulder, seated facing front upon an ornate throne set upon a rectangular inscribed platform. In his extended right hand he holds a winged, draped Victory standing on a globe and presenting a wreath upward; in his left hand he holds a long vertical sceptre. At his feet to the left stands an eagle facing front, its body inclined to the left and head turned right, clutching a wreath in its talons — the traditional Jovian symbol of divine power. The mint signature and officina letter appear in the exergue.
