| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate bust of Divus Julius Caesar facing right, with slightly draped left shoulder; the hair rendered in finely detailed curls with a laurel wreath binding the head, and ribbon ties visible behind the neck. The portrait is executed in the high-relief hammered style characteristic of Trajanic restitution coinage, conveying an idealized yet individualized likeness of the deified Caesar.
