Reverse description Fortuna Redux standing left, helmeted and draped, holding a rudder set upon a globe in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left hand. The figure is rendered in the classical allegorical tradition, symbolizing the safe return of the emperor. The surrounding legend P M TR P COS II is disposed around the upper and lateral fields, while FORT RED appears in the exergue, separated from the main design. A beaded border encircles the entire reverse field, consistent with Hadrianic aureus production at the Rome mint.
