The goddess is rendered with careful drapery folds accentuating her seated pose. The legend is divided between the upper field and the exergue, with P M TR P COS II disposed around the figure and FORT RED inscribed prominently in the lower exergue. The reverse is framed by a beaded border, and the composition commemorates Hadrian's safe return to Rome following Trajan's eastern campaigns. |
