| 背面描述 | Salus, the goddess of health and well-being, seated left on a high-backed throne, rendered in flowing drapery. In her extended right hand she holds a patera from which she feeds a serpent coiled around a flaming altar set before her. The composition is balanced and emblematic of imperial prosperity and divine favour. The reverse legend is distributed around the field in two registers, with SALVS AVG appearing in the lower exergual area. The style is consistent with early Hadrianic die engraving of the Rome mint. |
