Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in high relief with the characteristic aged and strong-featured portraiture typical of the Year of the Four Emperors coinage. The emperor is depicted bare-necked with short hair beneath the laurel wreath, conveying a stern, authoritative profile. The circumferential Latin legend runs clockwise around the effigy within a beaded border, identifying the emperor by his full imperial titulature.

Reverse description Standing draped female figure of Livia Augusta, deified, facing left in full length, rendered in the Classical tradition. She extends her right arm forward, offering a patera, while her left hand holds a long vertical sceptre resting on the ground beside her. The figure is robed in a stola and palla, her hair arranged in a formal court coiffure. The two-word Latin legend DIVA AVGVSTA is distributed around the field within a beaded border, identifying her as the divinely consecrated empress.
