Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, depicted with fine engraving characteristic of Flavian imperial portraiture. The emperor's bust is bare-shouldered, rendered in high relief with carefully delineated facial features and a wreath of laurel leaves crowning the head. A beaded border frames the design along the coin's periphery. The obverse legend encircles the portrait, reading from the lower left and continuing around the field.
