| Obverse description | Laureate head of Domitian facing right, with short beard and characteristic curled hair rendered in the Flavian portrait style. The effigy is executed in bold relief with strong facial modeling typical of early Domitianic aurei. A plain fillet secures the laurel wreath above the brow.
