Reverse description Standing figure of Minerva, helmeted and draped, depicted facing left in a dynamic pose with her right arm raised aloft brandishing a thunderbolt or javelin, while her left arm rests at her side. The goddess stands on a small base or podium, her martial character fully expressed in the upright, commanding stance favoured in Domitianic coinage, where Minerva served as the emperor's personal divine patron. The reverse legend IMP XI COS XII CENS P P P is arranged around the periphery of the coin, with the field otherwise plain. A beaded border frames the entire design.
