Obverse description Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, depicted with short curled hair and a wreath of laurel leaves. The emperor is shown draped at the shoulder, rendered in the high-relief Flavian portrait style characteristic of the Rome Mint. The circular legend reads DOMITIANVS AVGVSTVS, distributed around the bust within a beaded border. The portrait conveys imperial authority with a strong, naturalistic likeness typical of Domitian's later coinage.
