Flanking the column on either side, the consular numeral COS XIIII appears horizontally across the field. The entire central device is enclosed within a finely detailed laurel wreath tied at the base, with the wreath rendered with individual leaves and berries of high artistic quality. A beaded border surrounds the reverse, and no exergual inscription is present. |
