正面描述	Bare head of Liber (Bacchus/Dionysus) facing right, wreathed with ivy and berries, hair rendered in voluminous curls with a characteristic ivy wreath secured at the crown. The portrait is executed in the high-relief hammered style typical of Augustan aurei, with the wreath elements clearly articulated above the brow. The circular Latin legend TVRPILIANVS IIIVIR runs around the periphery, identifying the moneyer Publius Petronius Turpilianus in his capacity as Triumvir Monetalis. The flan is slightly irregular, as is characteristic of hand-struck issues of this period.
