| Reverse description | A vigorous bull rendered in dynamic three-quarter perspective strides aggressively to the left with head lowered in a butting posture, its muscular body in high relief conveying power and martial energy. The tail is raised and curled dramatically above the hindquarters, and the forelegs are braced forward as if charging. The animal stands on a plain ground line beneath which the reverse legend is inscribed in clear, well-spaced capital letters. The composition fills the flan effectively, with the border left plain, consistent with the hammered coinage of the Lugdunum mint of this period. |
