Reverse description Zeus enthroned left upon a high-backed throne, his right hand extending forward to hold an eagle and his left hand grasping a long upright scepter. The figure is rendered in the classical seated deity convention common to Phrygian civic bronzes of the Julio-Claudian period. The encircling Greek legend names the city ethnicon and the local magistrate responsible for the issue.
