| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Commodus facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Moesian civic coinage. The portrait displays a laurel wreath of finely detailed leaves encircling the imperial effigy, with characteristic drapery at the truncation. The surrounding Greek legend identifies the emperor by his imperial titulature, distributed around the obverse field. The coin bears a stable green patina consistent with its copper alloy composition and provincial hammered manufacture. |
