Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Thracian civic coinage. The portrait displays characteristic curly hair beneath the laurel wreath and a short beard, with paludamentum visible at the truncation. The Greek imperial titulature legend encircles the effigy in the field, reading from left to right around the bust. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production of the late 2nd century AD.
