| Beschrijving voorzijde | Full-length frontal figure of Emperor Andronikos III standing in imperial regalia, holding a long scepter in his right hand. The figure is rendered in the flat, hieratic style characteristic of late Byzantine copper coinage. A Greek legend reading ΔΕΠΟΤ ΑΝΔΡΟΝΙΚΟC (The Lord Andronikos) is distributed across the field flanking the imperial effigy. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammered fabric with slightly ragged edges. A post-mint piercing hole is present at the lower portion of the coin. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A cross fleury occupying the full field of the coin, with each arm terminating in fleur-de-lis-style floral finials. A single pellet is placed in each of the four quarters formed by the arms of the cross, a hallmark device of this issue. The design is contained within a plain circular border. No inscription appears on this side. The hammered flan exhibits the same irregular outline as the obverse, with a piercing hole visible at the lower right margin. |
