| Reverse description | The reverse field is fully occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription disposed across the flan in the Kufic-influenced style typical of Crimean Tatar and Genoese colonial coinage of the late 14th century. The characters fill the central field without a defined inner circle, and a partial dotted border is visible along portions of the irregular edge. The inscription references the Tatar Khan's name and titles, reflecting the bicultural monetary tradition of the Genoese colony at Caffa, where Latin and Arabic legends coexisted on the same issue. |
