Reverse description The reverse displays a central raised inscription panel in Nasta'liq script set within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a wide flat incuse border typical of Afsharid Ashrafi coinage. The legend names the mint as Dar al-Saltana Isfahan and records the AH regnal year 1152 in Eastern Arabic numerals at the base of the inscription. The broad flat rim, unmarked and smoothly hammered, frames the central device and is characteristic of the Type D Ashrafi series struck at Isfahan under Nader Shah.
